Irvin Ramirez-Benavides was a two-sport athlete in high school. He ran track from 7th grade to 12th grade running the 200m, 400m, and 4x400m races predominantly. Irvin got into coaching pretty soon once he got into college. He volunteered at a couple of different schools including Grand Island, Lincoln East, and Lincoln High. This is his 5th year coaching track. He currently is the Sprints coach at Lincoln High School.
I always loved helping teach my teammates when I was an athlete and I’m excited to continue to have that opportunity and continue to gain more experience.
