Competitive
Ages to participate and compete are 5-18 years old. Each athlete will need to purchase a USATF membership AND ensure that your child is age verified with the National USATF office. This allows your athlete to compete at USATF state, regional and national meets and provides sports-related insurance for your athlete during the season. Go to usatf.org, click Membership (located at the top of the website), under Individual Youth Membership click join or renew and follow the directions to set up an account and purchase your athlete(s) USATF membership. While registering you will be asked our club number and LYTC's is 29-0380. Please complete your USATF membership and add your number on our form before submitting your registration. You will be able to upload your athlete's birth certificate or other acceptable form of documentation once you make an account and log in to verify your child's birth. If your child is not age verified they will not be able to participate in the State, Regional and National meets. Please click on our schedule to look at practices and meets to plan ahead.
AAU: (Optional)
If you are interested in other meets you can go to the AAU website www.aausports.org to obtain a membership. Click on join AAU/login, click Get a Membership, select Youth Athlete Membership and follow the directions to set up an account and purchase. AAU Club Code: UQNU5FDNG. Please complete your AAU membership and add your number on our form before submitting your registration. You may wait to do this and decide later in May as the season gets closer to the AAU meets.
Note: High School athletes that are in a Spring season can join practices after their season is over. Thank you for understanding!
PRACTICES:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30-7:45 P.M. (8 P.M. cool-down sometimes)
Locations: Pioneers Park (Meet at the West Van Dorn entrance/sledding hill) *same location for those who participated in Cross Country
Lincoln Southeast High School (2930 S 37th St, Lincoln, NE 68506)
Majority of April and beginning of May practices will be at Pioneers Park due to track and field availability.
